of sorts
You have to feel for retail staff at this time of year when the world seems to go a little crazy.
However, I laughed out loud when I saw this sign outside a shop window while out Christmas shopping today. The staff were clearly striking back with a healthy dose of humour!
now I would find that funny but we are giving the wee one a puppy for christmas - the last of our small amount of freedom gone - but won't it be cute all spotty and white and black :) le
ReplyDeleteToo too funny! I've seen some of those unsupervised children in stores and restaurants. I can well understand their ire.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing that photo - I enjoy seeing humor in business. During this season of lights - everyone should lighten up.
ReplyDeleteThey have a sense of humor and a little bit of threat, all mixed together - classic!
ReplyDeleteVery clever and probably the least of what they would like to do with pesky children running wild in their shop. It amazes me sometimes what parents let their kids get away with.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. Lilly I think you'd like this house tour, it made me think of you http://rosehilldesigns.blogspot.com/2010/12/holiday-house-tour-part-deux.html
ReplyDeleteHa Ha!
ReplyDeleteSeems to be the "in-whinge" nowadays, unruly kids in restaurants and shops.
Lilly, have a very Merry Christmas and Happy NY!
Ha! great sign. I love the little puppy with the wagging tail.

ReplyDeleteHO, HO, HO! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThat is very clever and a good warning to parents looking for the staff to babysit while they shop. Ha!
ReplyDeleteMy folks used to own an ice cream shop. They had a sign that said-- Unattended children will be sent home with a baby kitten. It worked for them too- Not one kitten was ever sent home :-)
Hope all is wrapper up with the house sale and you're enjoying the holidays, Lilly. Merry Christmas my friend, xo jj
LOL, LOL.....Just stopping by, my dear Lilly, to wish you a Very Merry Christmas! May this be a special Holiday time for you and yours!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas, Lilly - all the best to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunatly I can't see the photo on my cheep cell, but wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas! Oh, and don't buy the store out. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! Hah! I love it when "real people" strike back at the selfish...
ReplyDeleteI hope Christmas was great, carefree and VERY merry for you!
