Thanks for dropping by and welcome.
I started Lilly's Life in early 2008 after I needed some diversion therapy from one of life's more trying episodes.
And, as many of you know from your own experiences, blogatherapy worked so well that I became addicted to blogging. And to the Blogosphere. At large.
I usually write about the more amusing things that happen in my life (which seems to happen a lot) and I use my blog to send messages to my grown up daughter (I try and pretend she's not grown up because I would then have to face the fact I am technically middle-aged) in my Message from your Mother series. From time to time I can get a little serious if I feel strongly about an issue. Such as religion, sex, politics and my beloved cupcakes.
My 82 year old father has even shared his wisdom and wise cracks on my blog. He got more laughs than I did so I banned him. No, the truth is that when his health allows and he manages to free the ropes from his typing fingers, he will be back again for another guest appearance!
I live in Australia, so if you happen to notice I spell things differently from you it's because I use the English spelling system.
Feel free to contact me BUT there are a few stipulations.
If you are a filthy rich billionaire, a very successful publisher or have big advertising bucks to squander, do not waste time, contact me by email at lilly@lillyslife.com any time, night or day.
Alright, given I am a realist and that is hardly likely to eventuate, anyone can contact me provided you're not a sociopath, a Nigerian con artist, or Jimmy Porter from 4th grade. Also, contact comes with conditions. You must be willing to only share good news. I do not do bad news, however constructive your criticisms may be. I have had enough of that to last me several lifetimes. A girl can only take so much.
Take a look around. Go on, smile while you are here, it won't kill you!
PS. That's me on the right. It's not easy standing next to such a pretty man I tell you.

Lilly,
I so do love your new blog. I also like your different pages, especially about this page about you. You know when you posted the picture of you and Clooney in one of your posts, I didn't realize that your face was superimposed! so excellently and cleverly done, I thought it was really you with him.

Wowza! Your new blog is fantabulous! I love it so much I think I'm about to pass out from gasping with delight! =)
@ Tasha - he he, yes me and George, he he. Thanks my friend.
@ Adlibby - oh, no passing out round here. I decided to go simple and hopefully I will keep it like that although looking at the way I do housework....mmmm....a struggle it is to keep spic and span....and clutter free.
Hi Lilly, I see you got a facelift, oh pardon; you gave your blog a facelift while I was gone. I love it, congrats and I hope you attract that billionaire. Actually, George really could do something good for you, after what he did to you:):)

@ Fida, oh I wish I had the facelift, you just use soft focus and it has the same effect!lol!!! George, oh is time I moved on, life is short!
Your blog has been included in this weeks Sites To See. I hope you like the image I featured, and I hope this helps to attract many new visitors here.
Hi,
I’m glad that I came across your blog. You have some very useful and interesting posts there. I will put a link to your blog from my site, if this is okay with you.
I help run a store called HiSunglasses.com; it’s not really a big one, but it’s getting there. Please have a look. If you could possibly place a small link of my site, that would be really great.
Have a great day and hope to hear from you.
Happy blogging
way too cool!
best wishes

Thank you for all the great posts from last year! I look forward to reading your blog, because they are always full of information that I can put to use. Thank you again, and God bless you in 2010.
Love the blog! The design is very appealing and easy to navigate through. And the bio is spectacular =]. Good Luck with the blog.
